Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Woodworking Product Support & Quality Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide customers with expert guidance on Woodcraft products, woodworking methods, product specifications, and product comparisons. You will also help customers locate products and information, troubleshoot missing or damaged parts, and obtain warranty details and manufacturer contact information. Responsibilities Answer customer questions by phone, tech e-mail. Assist customer service with product information, measurements for shipping, product specifications, verify quantities on hand and answer customer questions through customer service conference calls. Assist Woodcraft Supply store employees with any needed information and help with missing parts issues. Help stores by investigating any product quality issues that may arise. Help store employees with woodworking advise and locating product instructions. Help store employees with product availability questions. Check product details, packaging information, product specifications and instant quality inspections for the Supply Chain team. Maintain Customer call levels and attain minimal dropped call levels. Provide inbound product inspections, and assembly item inspections. Walk the warehouse and conduct random pick bin inspections to identify product and /or product packaging quality issues or items incorrectly stocked. Provide quality feedback to receiving department. Notify stocking department of any product incorrectly stocked and assist with it being identified and stocked correctly throughout the day. Occasionally help returns department inspect returned items. Assist the Supply Chain team in testing and quality evaluations of prospective new products. Perform product testing of new products and wood products in home workshop. Provide finished product samples for product presentation at product meetings and catalog. Qualifications Have extensive woodworking experience Professional woodworking training is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel High school diploma or
