Job Description
SUMMARY Operates a plow or tractor to remove snow and ice from parking and other designated areas, ensuring areas remain safe and accessible. A key part of every employee's job is to serve as a Targhee ambassador, engaging the guest at every opportunity.
Maintains equipment by checking and replenishing fluids and requesting minor repairs. Efficiently operates equipment by becoming familiar with obstacles and following safety guidelines.
Follows Resort Etiquette Guidelines and provides excellent customer service to both internal and external guests. Acts as a team player and contributes to team effort by arriving to work on time and anticipating and accomplishing tasks.
May occasionally shovel snow. Must have reliable form of transportation to and from work.
Some job sharing may be required.
Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.
Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.
Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Resort's Occupational Safety & Health Compliance Manual and department-specific procedures or manuals.
Operate equipment safely so that it will not lead to injury to yourself or others.
Drive in accordance with the law and Grand Targhee Resort policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides accessible and safe parking/walking area by removing snow and ice, delivering and placing aggregate.Maintains equipment by checking and replenishing fluids and requesting minor repairs. Efficiently operates equipment by becoming familiar with obstacles and following safety guidelines.
Follows Resort Etiquette Guidelines and provides excellent customer service to both internal and external guests. Acts as a team player and contributes to team effort by arriving to work on time and anticipating and accomplishing tasks.
