Job Description

Painter Job Summary The Painter is responsible for preparing and painting residential and commercial properties, including drywall installation, repair, finishing, and painting. The position requires hands-on experience with drywall and painting and the ability to produce a professional-quality finished product. Duties include drywall repair and finishing, taping, floating, sanding, surface preparation, caulking, priming, painting, staining, and touch-ups. The Painter works under the direction of the Lead Painter or Working Foreman and is expected to complete work safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail.
Key Requirements:
Drywall experience is required, including repair, taping, floating, sanding, and finishing. Painting experience required. Ability to properly prepare surfaces and apply paint and other finishes. Ability to perform quality drywall repairs and match existing textures and finishes. Ability to safely use painting and construction tools, ladders, and equipment. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Dependable, hardworking, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Maintain a clean and organized job site and protect customer property. Professional communication with customers, coworkers, and management. Valid driver's license required with background check Physical Requirements Must be able to lift approximately 50 pounds, climb, bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, work from ladders or elevated surfaces when properly trained, and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
