Painter (Residential & Commercial)

Based on experience Skinner and Son LLC is seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our growing team. We are a licensed general contracting company focused on high-quality residential remodels and commercial projects. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and can work independently while maintaining efficiency and professionalism on the job site.

Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting (sanding, patching, masking, priming) Apply paints, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and sprayers Ensure clean, precise finishes with strong attention to detail Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate effectively with project managers and team members Follow all safety guidelines and company standards

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of professional painting experience Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Self-starter with the ability to work independently Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred Ability to lift, climb ladders, and work in various environments
