Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality Apply paint using various techniques including brush painting, roller painting, and airless spray painting for interior and exterior surfaces Use ladders safely to reach high areas while adhering to all safety regulations and protocols Conduct surface inspection and color matching using visual color comparison tools and knowledge of color theory to achieve desired aesthetics Perform structural painting tasks on walls, ceilings, trim, stucco, drywall, plastering, and masonry surfaces during renovation or restoration projects Operate power tools and hand tools efficiently for surface preparation, fixture installation, or minor carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry or frame work Follow blueprint reading and technical drawings to accurately execute detailed painting projects on construction sites or remodeling jobs Maintain safety standards by wearing respiratory protection and adhering to all safety regulations during construction spray painting or industrial painting tasks Qualifications Proven experience in residential painting with knowledge of construction estimating and surface preparation techniques Familiarity with a variety of painting methods including brush, roller, conventional spray, and airless paint spraying systems Strong understanding of safety regulations related to construction site work, including respiratory protection and safe ladder use Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans accurately Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, drywall tools, plastering equipment, and masonry tools Knowledge of coating types such as stucco finishes or industrial coatings is a plus Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project scope and material needs Experience with fixture installation or handyman tasks is advantageous for comprehensive project support Excellent attention to detail with an eye for color matching and visual quality control Valid experience in renovation projects involving drywall repair, restoration work, or remodeling efforts Join us as we elevate homes through expert craftsmanship!
