Hi-Tech Contracting is seeking a highly experienced, dependable painter who specializes in apartment turns and residential repainting. This position requires someone who can complete units quickly and efficiently while still producing clean, professional results. Speed is important, but quality cannot be sacrificed. We need someone who properly prepares and protects all surfaces and does not leave paint on flooring, cabinets, fixtures, hardware, or other finished areas. Responsibilities Complete interior apartment turns within required deadlines Prepare walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and baseboards for painting Patch nail holes, repair minor drywall damage, sand, caulk, and spot-prime as needed Apply paint using a sprayer, roller, and brush Spray and back-roll surfaces when required Match existing paint colors and finishes Properly mask and protect flooring, cabinets, countertops, appliances, fixtures, windows, and other finished surfaces Maintain clean cut-in lines and consistent paint coverage Complete touch-ups and final quality-control inspections Clean the unit and remove all painting materials and debris after completion Communicate promptly regarding scheduling, progress, material needs, and unexpected repairs Take before-and-after photos and provide completion updates when requested Follow all jobsite safety requirements and company quality standards Required Qualifications Minimum of 10 years of professional painting experience Extensive experience painting apartments and completing fast unit turns Must own and know how to properly operate a professional paint sprayer Must have all necessary painting tools, equipment, and preparation materials English proficiency is required Must be able to clearly communicate in English and understand written and verbal job instructions Experience spraying and back-rolling walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and baseboards Strong knowledge of surface preparation, masking, patching, caulking, priming, and paint application Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality Ability to avoid overspray, drips, uneven coverage, and paint damage Ability to produce clean, professional results with minimal supervision Ability to estimate the time and materials required for each unit accurately Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Reliable phone and consistent communication Ability to lift and carry painting equipment and safely work from ladders Ability to meet strict deadlines and work independently or with a crew Must be dependable, punctual, organized, and professional Must maintain a clean and safe jobsite Required Tools and Equipment Applicants must have their own professional painting equipment, including: Professional airless paint sprayer Spray tips, hoses, extensions, and sprayer accessories Ladders and extension poles Rollers, brushes, trays, buckets, and paint screens Drop cloths, plastic, paper, tape, and masking equipment Caulking, patching, sanding, and surface-preparation tools Basic drywall repair tools Cleaning supplies and equipment needed for jobsite cleanup Paint may be provided depending on the project, but the painter must arrive fully equipped with the tools and supplies needed to complete the work. You must be able to turn units quickly while completing the proper preparation, protecting all surrounding surfaces, and leaving behind a clean, professional finish. Rushing, careless overspray, paint on flooring or fixtures, poor coverage, missed areas, and unfinished cleanup will not be accepted. Important:

This is not an entry-level position. Applicants who do not have at least 10 years of professional painting experience, extensive apartment-turn experience, their own professional sprayer, all required painting equipment, and the ability to communicate in English will not be considered.
