Role:

John McDonald Painting Corp is looking for a talented and motivated Painter or Apprentice to join our crew in Agoura Hills, CA! Whether you're an experienced painter or just starting your career in the trades, this is a great opportunity to do quality work and grow your skills with a professional team.

Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, scraping, patching, and priming Apply paint, stain, and coatings to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and sprayers Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, masking tape, and plastic sheeting Mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and finishes Perform touch-ups and finish work to ensure clean, professional results Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and job sites Follow safety protocols and use proper PPE on all job sites

Requirements:

Apprentice-level candidates willing to learn the trade. Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and at various heights Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Knowledge of surface prep, paint application techniques, and finishing
