Painter Helper

Duties Assist with surface preparation including sanding, scraping, caulking, and plastering to ensure smooth painting surfaces Handle hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, and putty knives with precision and care Support the application of paint using airless sprayers and power tools for efficient coverage on various projects Help with the installation of fixtures, trim carpentry, and basic schematic reading to facilitate project completion Prepare work sites by organizing materials, setting up scaffolding or ladders, and maintaining safety protocols on construction sites Mix paints according to color theory principles and project specifications to achieve desired finishes Assist in demolition, restoration, masonry work, and other renovation tasks as needed to support overall project goals Skills Knowledge of construction estimating and blueprint reading for accurate project support Familiarity with residential and commercial painting techniques including industrial painting and stucco application Experience with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and welding is a plus Basic math skills for measurements and mixing paints accurately Understanding of construction site safety practices and ability to follow schematics and technical instructions Hands-on experience with caulking, trim carpentry, framing, masonry, plastering, and fixture installation Ability to work efficiently on renovation projects involving remodeling, restoration, or maintenance tasks Join us if you're eager to build your career in construction painting!
