The Lead/Journeyman Painter should be able to work independently, handle detailed prep and finish work, operate spray equipment, and help lead a small crew when needed.
Key responsibilities:
Interior and exterior painting Surface preparation, masking, sanding, caulking, and patching Brush, roll, and spray application Properly mix and apply primers, paints, stains, and coatings Maintain clean, organized work areas Read and follow job specifications Identify and address quality issues Communicate professionally with customers and management Lead and direct helpers on the job when assigned Maintain company tools and equipment Complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality results
Requirements:
3+ years of professional painting experience Strong knowledge of painting techniques and surface preparation Experience with airless sprayers Able to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Professional appearance and customer-service skills Ability to lead a small crew is preferred
