The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial, commercial and specifically residential painting, with a strong understanding of various painting techniques and materials. This role involves working on construction sites, commercial properties and residential homes where attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards are essential. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring a clean and professional finish. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed. Apply paint, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Collaborate with construction teams to meet project timelines and specifications. Utilize hand tools effectively for various tasks including plastering and stucco application. Maintain a clean work area and ensure all safety protocols are followed on job sites. Conduct regular inspections of painted surfaces to ensure durability and quality. Qualifications Proven experience in painting. Strong knowledge of hand tools used in painting and carpentry tasks. Ability to work effectively on job sites while adhering to safety regulations. Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
