Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that enhance the aesthetic and durability of residential, commercial, and structural projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces by utilizing your knowledge of surface preparation, and painting techniques. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, patching, and applying primer as needed to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality Apply paint, coatings, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including conventional and construction spray painting), and power tools with precision and efficiency Use ladders safely to reach high or hard-to-access areas while following strict safety regulations and respiratory protection protocols Perform structural painting tasks on various surfaces such as drywall, plastering, or other building materials during renovations or new construction projects Conduct surface preparation activities including sanding, drywall repair, caulking, fixture installation, and surface priming for long-lasting results Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools such as hand tools and paint sprayers while adhering to safety procedures at all times Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and safety compliance Experience All levels of experience encouraged to apply Hands-on experience with various painting techniques including brush painting, roller painting, spray application (including construction spray painting), and coating application Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently in a construction environment Experience with surface preparation tasks such as drywall repair, plastering, caulking, fixture installation, and renovation work is highly desirable Understanding of safety regulations related to construction painting including respiratory protection measures and proper use of ladders and scaffolding Prior involvement in construction or remodeling projects demonstrating adaptability across different environments is preferred Join our team if you're passionate about transforming spaces through expert craftsmanship!
