In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and structural projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet safety standards and client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship while working on diverse projects that challenge your skills and creativity. Duties Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, drywall repair, caulking, and surface priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and coatings using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, and spray equipment including paint sprayers and conventional spray systems Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and color schemes to accurately execute project specifications Use ladders, scaffolding, and power tools safely to reach high or hard-to-access areas while adhering to all safety regulations and protocols Conduct surface testing for proper coating adhesion and perform visual color comparisons to achieve precise color matching Perform maintenance tasks such as fixture installation, drywall patching, plastering, and general remodeling work as needed on construction sites Follow safety procedures diligently by wearing respiratory protection and other personal protective equipment (PPE), ensuring compliance with all safety regulations during every phase of work Qualifications Looking for a minimum of 2 years of painting. must understand the basics including but not limited to proper masking, rolling walls, and surface preporation. Proven experience in construction painting with a strong understanding of surface preparation techniques and coating application methods knowledge in residential painting, commercial painting, structural painting, and renovation projects Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including both spray painting techniques), brushes, rollers, and other relevant equipment Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction sites including respiratory protection and safe ladder use Experience with drywall installation/repair, caulking, plastering, and general painting and preporation.
