Duties Prepare surfaces thoroughly through sanding, scraping, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying and conventional spraying), ensuring even coverage and color accuracy based on project specifications Interpret technical drawings, color theory principles, and project requirements to execute precise painting tasks Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scaffolding safely to reach high or difficult areas while maintaining strict adherence to safety regulations and respiratory protection standards Perform structural painting on various surfaces such as stucco, drywall, metal fixtures, and industrial equipment with attention to detail Assist with renovation projects by installing fixtures, repairing surfaces, and performing general handyman tasks as needed Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and disposing of waste materials according to safety protocols Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while ensuring quality workmanship and safety compliance Experience Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or industrial coating projects with a strong understanding of construction site procedures Familiarity with construction site safety regulations including the use of respiratory protection and proper handling of hazardous materials Hands-on experience with surface preparation techniques such as sanding, caulking, stucco application, and fixture installation Must have your own transportation and willing to go to different jobsites when needed.
