Full-time Position Summary:
We're looking for a special breed of human… someone who can stare down a rusted-out dozer that looks like it fought in three wars and say, "Yeah… I can fix her." If you've got the skill to turn beat-up iron into jobsite eye candy, understand that prep work is not optional, and know paint should go on the machine instead of your face, boots, and coworkers, then congratulations… you may be exactly the lunatic we need.Your Daily Mission:
Take equipment that currently looks like it was recovered from the bottom of a swamp and make it look company-proud Sand, grind, prep, tape, mask, and curse at rust until it gives up Spray paint excavators, skid steers, cranes, trailers, and whatever else the boss points at with unrealistic expectations Make old machines look new enough that the operators might actually feel guilty trashing them… for at least half a day Fight oxidation, corrosion, and bad life choices one coat at a time Apply decals and logos straight enough that management doesn't start twitching Avoid painting over grease, dirt, hydraulic leaks, warning labels, or Steve Maintain a clean paint area, because "organized chaos" is still mostly chaos Accept that no matter how perfect your work is, someone will still scratch it immediatelyQualifications:
Experience with industrial, automotive, or heavy equipment painting preferred Must know the difference between primer, paint, and "just send it" Should understand that surface prep matters more than blind optimism Ability to use spray guns without accidentally creating modern art Must be capable of hearing, "Can you just touch this one thing up real quick?" at least 47 times a week Thick skin required, because if you paint the tires, the whole yard will know by lunchBonus Points If You:
Can make a 15-year-old skid steer look less emotionally exhausted Have ever said "that'll buff out" and actually meant it Can color match without standing there squinting like a confused raccoon Know not to clear coat mud Can survive Florida heat while dressed like a hazmat burritoPhysical Requirements:
Must lift, climb, crouch, and move like your knees still work Comfortable in heat, humidity, dust, fumes, and the occasional mechanic offering "advice" Able to wear a respirator without acting like it's a personal attackWhy Work Here:
Because every company needs one hero willing to save their fleet from looking like abandoned farm equipment. You'll be the reason our machines look expensive, professional, and slightly less abused than they actually are. Your work will shine… right up until an operator drags it through rebar, concrete, or a tree.Apply today if:
You take pride in your work, hate rust with a passion, and believe every machine deserves one last chance before looking like a tax write-off.Pay:
$18.00- $27.
