Interested applicants should report to any State Workforce Agency (SWA) career center for help in contacting the employer. Referral by a career center provides program guarantees and protections that may not be available to a worker not referred. Workers must have valid identification for I-9 preparation when they report to the employer location to begin work. The employer may use the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services E-Verify Program to verify employment eligibility. C. Workers referred to this job by a SWA should report to a career center between 5 and 9 work days before the job start date to verify the job start date is the same. Hydroponic System Management:
Oversee and optimize hydroponic growing systems, ensuring efficient nutrient delivery, pH levels, and water quality to maximize plant health and yield.Crop Cultivation:
Plan, implement, and monitor the growth of various crops, applying best practices in hydroponic techniques to enhance growth rates and production quality.Technology Integration:
Collaborate with technology specialists to integrate smart farming solutions, including climate control, automation systems, and data analytics, to optimize growing conditions.Research and Development:
Conduct trials and experiments to evaluate new techniques and crop varieties, contributing to the continuous improvement of greenhouse operations.Team Collaboration:
Work closely with a team of agricultural specialists, engineers, and management to develop and implement methodologies that align with the company's sustainability goals.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards and report regularly on crop performance, system efficiency, and other key metrics.Hydroponic Grower qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in horticulture, agriculture, or a related field. Proven experience in hydroponic growing, preferably in a high-tech greenhouse environment. Strong understanding of plant science, nutrient management, and pest control in hydroponic systems. Familiarity with Finnish greenhouse technology and principles of efficient resource management. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments. Proficient in using greenhouse management software and data analysis tools. Production ManagerKey Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:
Direct and manage daily greenhouse operations, coordinating activities across planting, cultivation, and harvesting to ensure seamless production workflows.Technology Integration:
Implement and optimize state-of-the-art Finnish greenhouse systems, including climate control and automation technologies to maximize productivity and resource efficiency.Team Leadership:
Lead a diverse team of technicians, growers, and specialists, fostering a collaborative environment focused on achieving production goals and continuous improvement.Quality Assurance:
Establish and maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure optimal plant health and yield, aligning production with industry standards and market requirements.Strategic Planning:
Develop and execute production strategies that align with the company's broader business objectives, focusing on innovation and sustainability.Data Analysis and Reporting:
Utilize greenhouse management software to monitor production metrics, conducting data analysis to drive decision-making and report on key performance indicators.
Budget Management:
Oversee budgetary planning and execution, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality or sustainability.Production Manager qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in horticulture, agriculture, agribusiness, or related field. Proven experience in a production management role, ideally within a high-tech or horticultural setting. Strong knowledge of Finnish greenhouse technology and modern agricultural practices. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with experience in team management. Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with greenhouse management systems. Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking skills.Pay:
Florida Adverse Effect Wage Rate (AEWR)- $47.

Federal Income Tax, Social Security and Medicare, and any deductions agreed to by the worker in writing. Work rules will be found in the Clearance Order. E. Contract period is July 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027.Hours:
42 hours per weekDays/Hours:
Monday thru Saturday 7 hours per day . Work may be offered but not required on Sundays and holidays. Extra work hours may be offered based on weather and other conditions. F. Employer will refund workers living outside commuting distance the reasonable transportation and subsistence costs to report for the first day of work on the 50% date. Will provide workers who complete the contract period the reasonable cost of transportation and subsistence to return to place of recruitment or to report to the next H-2A job. G. Housing and Board.Housing:
Will provide free housing for workers who arrive from outside daily commuting distance. Family housing is not available. Meals (Board): The employer will provide free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities and free transportation to the grocery store to workers living in employer-provided housing which will enable workers to prepare their own meals. Housing meets the requirements of Federal, State and Local regulations. Rules regarding living accommodations will be found in the Clearance Order. Transportation provided by the employer meets the requirements of Federal, State and Local regulations. H. Prohibition against preferential treatment of aliens: The employer's job offer must offer to U.S. workers no less than the same benefits, wages, and working conditions that the employer is offering, intends to offer, or will provide to H-2A workers. Job offers may not impose on U.S. workers any restrictions or obligations that will not be imposed on the employer's H-2A workers. This does not relieve the employer from providing to H-2A workers at least the same level of minimum benefits, wages, and working conditions which must be offered to U.S. workers. I.
