Job Description
TITLE Painter & Pressure Washer
DESCRIPTION
Valid Florida Drivers License Experience Pressure washing Using Pressure washer machine Soft Washing Equipment maintaining equipment as well as knowledge of pressure levels as to ot damage surface. Must have knowledge of chemicals to use for machine Painting Surface preparation techniques like scraping, sanding,and priming Applying paint evenly and consistently with different methods (roller, brush, sprayer) Color matching and color theory basics Identifying and addressing paint defectsJob Summary:
Painting, pressure washing and other duties relating to maintenance are the primary duties. Maintain equipment and tools associated with duties.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Assists other Maintenance Technicians as needed. Performs preventative maintenance on systems and equipment as required. Performs preventative maintenance duties to all physical structures andplies with all building & OSHA safety codes and regulations. This is to include facility equipment and associated controls. Maintains routine records of all inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs performed on any equipment or system. Works days, evenings or nights as required performing required duties. Participates in the departments on call scle. Performs manual duties as requested (i.e. moving supplies or furniture, replacing light bulbs, removing trash scrap material). Prepares and smoothes surfaces; removes old paint; matches paint and paint surfaces in a timely manner. Pressure washes surfaces without damaging; uses appropriate mixture of cleaning solutions and maintain pressure washing equipment in good working condition. Uses and maintains basic tools required to perform duties. Responsible for the proper and safe storage of open paint containers and other regulated materials. Attends in-service meetings, daily meetings & filling out work order forms. Responds to code red alerts.Educational, Physical, and Other Requirements:
Must pass Level 2 background screening through the Florida Clearinghouse (Learn more: info.flclearinghouse) High school graduate or GED equivalent, Valid Florida drivers license in good standing. Experience in building/facility maintenance, painting and some Vo-tech experience would be beneficial Employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable amodations. Physical requirements may include frequent use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. The employee may be required to lift, stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; and smell. Vision abilities may require close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must routinely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. For the safety and security of our residents and patients, employees must be able to read, write, and verballymunicate in English, which is the most universally used language of our resident and employee population.Quality Assurance & Safety:
Adnce to all OSHA/NFPA and building codes, adnce to all policies / prores and safe work practices. Must supply own small power tool, hand tools, and specialty tools necessary for this position.Customer/Guest Relations & Communications:
