The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in preparing surfaces for painting, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality. This position requires a strong understanding of sanding, finishing, rolling or spraying, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Must have experience with finishing mill work. Starting salary can be negotiated. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as necessary. Ability to spray paint, apply stain, roll or brush fine finishes. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise. Qualifications A minimum of 2 years of experience in paint prep, sanding, and finishing on millwork. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Must be able to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during the workday
