As a Pintor, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise will help transform spaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet client expectations and safety standards. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, drywall repair, and surface priming to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality Apply paints, stains, coatings, and sealants using brushes, rollers, paint sprayers (including airless spray equipment), and conventional spraying techniques Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and color schemes to achieve precise results aligned with project requirements Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for surface preparation and fixture installation as needed Conduct construction site surface preparation including stucco application, drywall finishing, and structural painting tasks Follow safety regulations rigorously by wearing respiratory protection, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining a clean work environment Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of renovation or remodeling projects Skills Extensive experience in residential painting with knowledge of color theory for aesthetic accuracy Proficiency in construction estimating to assess project scope and materials needed Strong understanding of construction site experience including renovation, maintenance, and remodeling projects Skilled in using various hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless spray systems), brushes, rollers, and equipment for construction spray painting Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction painting including proper use of respiratory protection and adherence to safety protocols Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately for precise application of coatings Familiarity with construction painting surface preparation techniques such as drywall finishing, caulking, stucco application, and fixture installation Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during project planning Experience with industrial painting applications and coating techniques for large-scale or specialized projects Strong attention to detail with visual color comparison skills to ensure uniformity in finishes Handyman experience or additional skills in fixture installation enhance versatility on-site Join our team as a Pintor if you are passionate about transforming spaces through expert craftsmanship!
