We're a local painting company looking for a reliable, experienced painter to join our crew. We primarily do interior and exterior residential painting throughout The Villages and surrounding areas. Pay is $20-$30/hour depending on experience, skill level, and responsibility , with opportunities to take on more responsibility and advance as you prove yourself. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works efficiently, and can be trusted to do the job right without needing to be constantly watched. What we expect You should be comfortable with the fundamentals of residential painting, including: Efficient wall preparation, including basic puttying, sanding, caulking, and texture spray Making clean, consistent cuts Rolling walls and ceilings efficiently Spraying when appropriate and when your skill level allows Identifying and taking care of touch-ups and imperfections before a job is considered finished Basic ladder use and working safely from ladders under 10 feet Keeping your work area, tools, and job site clean and organized Working at a reasonable pace while maintaining quality Communicating with the rest of the crew and helping keep projects moving More advanced painting, spraying, drywall/texture, and other skills can lead to higher pay and additional responsibility. Requirements Painting experience is required for the $20-$30/hr range. Pay will be based on what you can actually do independently. Reliable transportation to and from job sites Valid driver's license You must have your own basic painting-related tools. We have additional tools and equipment that can be borrowed when needed depending on the situation.
