Responsibilities Operate paint sprayers, rollers, and brushes to apply paint accurately and efficiently on residential surfaces. Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality. Use roller painting techniques to achieve smooth, even coats on walls and ceilings. Apply paint with brushes for detailed work or touch-ups as needed. Communicate professionally with customers, clearly explaining the work being performed and addressing any questions or concerns. Observe all safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others. Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of the job while delivering valued quality service to clients. Experience Proven experience in residential interior and exterior painting is required. Skilled in surface preparation, roller painting, brush application, and spray techniques. Ability to recognize safety hazards and adhere strictly to safety protocols. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain work processes clearly to customers. Dependable transportation and a valid driver's license are essential for job site mobility.
