Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Painter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces on residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces through precise craftsmanship, ensuring quality and durability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from renovation and restoration to new builds, contributing your talents to create visually appealing and protected environments. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Use hand tools and power tools such as brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, and scaffolding to execute painting tasks efficiently. Apply paint, stains, varnishes, or other finishes accurately on various surfaces including walls, ceilings, trim carpentry, stucco, masonry, and fixtures. Perform specialty painting techniques such as industrial painting or spray applications for large or complex projects. Conduct surface restoration work including renovation tasks like drywall repair Collaborate with construction teams on site to ensure safety standards are maintained while meeting project deadlines. Qualifications Proven experience in construction painting across residential, commercial, or industrial settings with a solid understanding of construction site protocols. Able to climb up to 40" extension ladder. (24' ladders 6' step ladders mostly used) Have a valid drivers license and way of transportation Strong knowledge of color theory to achieve desired aesthetic effects. Skilled in using hand tools such as maskers, caulking guns, putty knives, brushes, rollers, and power tools including airless sprayers, drills and saws Experience with related trades such as carpentry (trim and frame), masonry, plastering, drywall is a plus. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations. Knowledge of safety procedures related to working at heights or with hazardous materials is essential. Pay:
