Job Summary The Painter position is an entry-level skilled role responsible for executing painting tasks with minimal supervision. This individual should have a foundational understanding of surface preparation, paint application, and job site safety. As a key part of the team, the Painter contributes to the delivery of high-quality finishes on residential and commercial projects. Key Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by sanding, caulking, patching, masking, and priming as needed Apply paints and coatings with brushes, rollers, and sprayers in a clean and efficient manner Perform detailed work on windows, doors, trim, soffits, fascia, shutters, etc. Read and follow work orders and instructions from supervisors and team leads Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site throughout each project Load/unload materials, set up scaffolding or ladders safely, and assist in project clean-up Ensure tools and equipment are used properly and maintained Communicate with team members to support a productive and respectful work environment Safety Responsibilities Follow all safety protocols and company policies on and off-site Use proper PPE at all times (respirators, masks, goggles, gloves, etc.) Safely operate tools, ladders, and equipment Participate in job site safety meetings and report any hazards or incidents immediately Actively contribute to a culture of safety awareness and accountability Qualifications 1-2 years of professional painting or construction experience preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights on ladders or scaffolding Reliable transportation and punctual attendance Excellent work ethic, communication skills, and team-first attitude Benefits Full-time, year-round employment with seasonal overtime opportunities Medical insurance after 90 days (50% company-paid) 401(k) with up to 3.5% employer match Paid holidays Training and advancement opportunities Weekly payroll Paid vacation after one year of employment
