In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces with precision, skillfully applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces. We serve Northern Cook County, Lake County, and Southeastern Wisconsin areas. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, caulking, plastering, drywall finishing, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Use hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including conventional spraying), and brushes or rollers to apply paints, stains, coatings, and finishes with precision. Safely operate ladders and scaffolding while adhering to all safety regulations and using respiratory protection when necessary. Perform construction site painting tasks including structural painting, renovation projects, and drywall finishing. Maintain a clean work environment by managing debris and ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use. Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards. Qualifications 5+ years experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or industrial painting required. Skilled in surface preparation techniques including drywall repair, plastering, and caulking. Proficient in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, sanders; power tools including drills and spray equipment; and ladder use for elevated surfaces. Cabinet painting, wood staining, wood finishing and paint spraying in general preferred. Must have own basic painting equipment and tools. Drivers' License & reliable transportation is required.
