Duties Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including conventional and construction spray painting), and power tools for efficient coverage Perform touch-ups and repairs to ensure seamless finishes across all surfaces while maintaining visual color consistency through color theory knowledge Assist with remodeling, renovation projects, and ongoing maintenance tasks that require handyman skills or specialized coatings for industrial or commercial environments Requirements Proven experience in construction painting with a strong understanding of surface preparation techniques for various materials including drywall, stucco, masonry Proficiency in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, sanders, caulking guns, and power tools for detailed work Skilled in applying different types of coatings including primer, paint (brush and roller), stain, and industrial coatings with attention to detail Familiarity with color theory principles for achieving consistent color matching across multiple surfaces Experience working on construction sites with a focus on surface preparation and finishing techniques for residential or commercial projects

Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
