Overview Join our dynamic team as a Crew Leader, Painter, and take charge of leading residential and commercial painting projects with enthusiasm and expertise! Duties Lead and coordinate painting crews on residential, commercial, and renovation projects, ensuring efficient workflow and quality standards are met. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and project specifications to accurately execute surface preparation, coating application, and finishing tasks. Perform construction site assessments to determine surface conditions requiring plastering, drywall installation, caulking, or masonry repairs before painting begins. Apply various painting techniques including brush painting, roller painting, spray painting (conventional and airless), and industrial coating methods to achieve desired finishes. Prepare surfaces by sanding, scraping, cleaning, and priming; utilize hand tools and power tools safely to ensure optimal adhesion and durability of coatings. Maintain strict adherence to safety regulations by using respiratory protection, harnesses when ladder or scaffold work is involved, and following all safety protocol guidelines. Interpret technical drawings and schematics for fixture installation or restoration projects; use basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Experience Proven experience in construction painting with a focus on residential or commercial projects; familiarity with renovation processes is highly valued. Strong knowledge of construction estimating practices related to paint quantities, surface preparation costs, and project timelines. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless systems), and spray equipment for various coating applications. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining safety standards on construction sites. Experience with structural painting surfaces such as stucco, masonry, drywall finishing, or industrial coatings preferred. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, or blueprints; familiarity with schematics related to fixture installation or remodeling projects is advantageous. Knowledge of safety regulations including respiratory protection protocols; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
