We're looking for reliable, skilled painters to partner with on new construction and remodel projects on a contract basis. The Opportunity This is a part-time 1099 independent contractor role, paid by the project, for our new construction and remodeling projects. You're responsible for the finished result, and how you get there is up to you. Scope of Work Interior and exterior painting on new construction and remodel projects Surface prep: patching, caulking, sanding, masking, and priming Painting walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and cabinets Spraying, brushing, and rolling as the job requires Touch-ups and punch-list work Leaving the job site clean when you finish What We're Looking For [2+] years of professional painting experience and ability to complete jobs without supervision Clean, sharp work: straight cut lines and even finishes Your own tools and equipment, including brushes, rollers, ladders, and a sprayer if you use one Reliable transportation Ability to meet project deadlines Insurance is a plus Ability to work as a 1099 contractor, including providing a W-9 and invoicing for completed work Application Question(s): Do you own all the tools necessary for interior/exterior painting, including a paint sprayer and ladders?
