In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services across a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and renovation sites. Your expertise will help transform spaces with precision, creativity, and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship while working on diverse projects that demand attention to detail and a proactive approach. Duties Prepare surfaces thoroughly through sanding, scraping, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paints, stains, coatings, and finishes using brush painting, roller painting, spray painting (including airless paint spraying and conventional spraying), and other hand tools Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and color schemes to execute precise color matching and design specifications Use ladders, scaffolding, and power tools safely to access hard-to-reach areas on various structures Conduct surface preparation for construction painting surfaces such as drywall, plastering, stucco, masonry, and structural elements Perform restoration work by matching existing finishes during renovation projects or remodeling efforts Follow all safety regulations by wearing respiratory protection and adhering to safety protocol guidelines on construction sites Skills Extensive experience in construction estimating and project planning for painting jobs Strong knowledge of color theory for effective visual color comparison and aesthetic consistency Proficiency in residential painting, commercial painting, industrial painting, and construction spray painting techniques Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless sprayers), brushes, rollers, and other application equipment Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans accurately Familiarity with surface preparation methods such as drywall finishing, caulking, plastering, masonry work, and fixture installation Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction site work including respiratory protection and hazard mitigation Basic math skills for measurements and estimating material quantities Experience with renovation projects involving framing carpentry, trim carpentry, stucco application, welding (for structural repairs), masonry work, or handyman tasks is a plus Demonstrated ability to work efficiently on construction sites with a focus on quality craftsmanship Join us as a Painting Subcontractor if you're passionate about transforming spaces with expert techniques while maintaining the highest safety standards.
