Must type in 92308 to "marketing code" section when applying! Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and protect surfaces from wear and weather. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop your skills in multiple painting techniques, and contribute to high-quality craftsmanship in a fast-paced environment. Most importantly to work hard and have a lot of fun while doing it professionally. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and repairing as needed to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply primers, paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools. Read blueprints and schematics to accurately determine project scope and specifications for residential and commercial painting jobs. Utilize construction estimating skills to assess materials required for each project and ensure efficient resource management. Perform specialized tasks such as plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry work, and fixture installation to support renovation efforts. Work safely on construction sites by following all safety protocols; operate equipment like scaffolding, ladders, welding tools, and concrete finishing tools responsibly. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly; ensure all work complies with industry standards and schematics. Timely participation and professionalism with clients Skills Proficiency with hand tools (brushes, rollers), power tools (airless sprayers, drills), welding equipment, and masonry tools. Experience in residential painting as well as commercial and industrial painting projects. Familiarity with surface preparation techniques including plastering, caulking, stucco application, masonry work, and fixture installation. Construction site experience with safety awareness; ability to work at heights on scaffolding or ladders safely. Handyman experience including renovation tasks such as restoration work or remodeling projects. Knowledge of maintenance procedures for building surfaces; ability to perform drywall repair or renovation tasks efficiently. $17.50 - $21.00 per hour
