Summary We are hiring Marine Painters to work on inland river barges in a shipyard environment. Responsibilities Prepare steel surfaces for painting and coating Apply primers, paints, and protective coatings to barges Use brushes, rollers, and spray equipment as required Perform surface preparation, including grinding and cleaning Follow coating specifications, safety procedures, and quality standards Maintain a clean and safe work area

Qualifications:

1-2 years of previous commercial or industrial/marine painting experience Ability to work outdoors and in a shipyard environment Ability to work from lifts, scaffolding, or other elevated work areas when required Must be safety-conscious and dependable Willingness to learn and work as part of a team Overtime Available!
