Painter

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our Maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible painting apartment units, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet project specifications. In this role, you will work alongside Maintenance to get units ready for new tenants. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Execute residential painting projects with precision, including interior and exterior surfaces like walls, ceilings, trim carpentry, and fixture installation. Perform renovation work involving restoration of old surfaces or remodeling projects requiring drywall finishing, framing carpentry, or masonry skills. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and schematics; maintain a clean workspace throughout each project phase. Qualifications Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or construction painting with a strong understanding of surface preparation techniques. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as caulking guns, putty knives, brushes, rollers; proficient with power tools including airless sprayers and welding equipment. Experience in plastering, restoration work, or remodeling projects is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent communication skills; handyman experience is advantageous.
