Responsibilities Assist with surface preparation including cleaning, sanding, caulking, and drywall repairs to ensure optimal paint adhesion Support the application of paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns (conventional and construction spray painting), and other hand or power tools Handle ladder use safely while working at various heights on different projects Prepare construction surfaces by sanding, masking, and priming to meet project specifications Follow safety regulations diligently by wearing respiratory protection and adhering to all safety protocols on site Interpret basic technical drawings or instructions to assist with fixture installation or renovation tasks Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and ensuring equipment is in good condition Skills Knowledge of construction estimating and basic math for measuring and mixing paints or coatings accurately Familiarity with color theory to assist in achieving desired visual effects Experience with residential painting, commercial painting, industrial painting, and restoration projects Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including conventional spraying), brushes, and rollers Understanding of surface preparation techniques such as plastering, drywall installation, stucco application, masonry work, and concrete finishing Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications for various construction painting tasks Strong commitment to safety regulations including proper use of respiratory protection and adherence to safety protocols Basic handyman skills such as fixture installation, caulking, remodeling, maintenance work, and masonry are a plus Experience with construction site procedures including scaffolding setup and working at heights using ladders Embark on a rewarding journey where your effort directly contributes to beautiful transformations!
