About the Role We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented Painter / Coatings Specialist to join our team. Key Responsibilities Surface Preparation:
Perform thorough surface prep including pressure washing, sanding, scraping, caulking, patching drywall, and concrete/surface repair prior to coating.
Coating Application:
Expertly apply paints, stains, sealers, elastomeric coatings, epoxy, and special industrial finishes using spray equipment (airless/conventional), rollers, and brushes.
Equipment Operation:
Safely set up and operate ladders, scaffolding, and motorized lift equipment (scissor and boom lifts) to reach high structural areas.
Job Site Protection & Cleanup:
Mask, tape, drop-cloth, and shield surrounding areas, fixtures, and surfaces from overspray and drips. Keep work areas clean and safe daily.
Quality & Safety:
Inspect finished surfaces to ensure consistent coverage and high-quality results. Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial or industrial painting and surface prep preferred.
Equipment Proficiency:
Hands-on experience with airless paint sprayers, power sanders, and pressure washers. Comfort working on lifts or at elevated heights. Attention to
Detail:
Ability to deliver clean cut-ins, uniform thickness, and flaw-free finishes.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs, stand for long hours, climb ladders, and work outdoors/indoors in varying temperatures.
Reliability:
Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites across the regional area.
Team Player:
Strong communication skills and a positive, punctual attitude.
Pay:
$24.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
