Painters Apprentice

Job Description:

Innovation Painting & Remodeling is currently hiring a 'Painter's Apprentice' to join our team within our expanding Midcoast Maine region. This role is a great fit for someone who may lack years of painting experience. We are hiring not necessarily on length of experience, but on an individual's level of capabilities, strong work ethic, professional attitude, and someone who wants to learn the trade the right way. We are looking for individuals who are dependable, coachable, respectful, and motivated to improve. Painting skills can be learned but what matters most is finding someone who shows up, works hard, communicates well, and takes pride in completing things the right way.

What You'll Be Doing:

Assisting with interior and exterior residential painting Surface prep including sanding, scraping, patching, caulking, masking, and priming Helping maintain clean, organized jobsites Working in clients' homes with professionalism and care Learning painting systems, jobsite standards, and best practices Supporting lead painters and crew members as needed This is an opportunity to grow with a company that values professionalism, customer experience, and high standards. We are willing to invest in the right person if they bring the right attitude and work ethic. With the height of the summer months upon us, our goal is a commitment of 40-50hours a week.

Requirements:

Reliable transportation Valid driver's license required Ability to work full-time Ability to perform physical work on ladders and on your feet throughout the day Painting or construction experience is a plus, but not required for the right person
