Overview We are seeking a Painter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes on residential projects. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, drywall repair, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Execute painting tasks using various methods including brush painting, roller painting, spray painting (conventional and airless), and construction spray techniques on different surfaces such as stucco, masonry, drywall, and structural elements Use hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers, and scaffolding or ladders safely to reach high or difficult areas while maintaining strict adherence to safety regulations and respiratory protection protocols Conduct surface preparation for construction painting projects including surface smoothing, sanding, and applying coatings or sealants for durability and aesthetic appeal Assist with fixture installation, remodeling tasks, or handyman duties as needed to support comprehensive project completion Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and disposing of waste materials in accordance with safety protocols Skills Experience in residential painting with a strong understanding of construction estimating processes Proficiency in surface preparation techniques for construction painting including drywall finishing, stucco application, masonry work, caulking, and coating application Knowledge of industrial painting practices and the use of specialized equipment such as airless paint sprayers and conventional spray systems Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately for precise project execution Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, ladders, and fixture installation equipment safely and effectively Familiarity with safety regulations related to construction site work including respiratory protection measures and safety protocol adherence Strong understanding of color theory for visual color comparison ensuring consistent finish quality across projects Basic math skills for measuring surfaces accurately and calculating paint quantities needed for various projects Experience working on construction sites with a focus on renovation projects involving drywall repair, remodeling, or masonry work Ability to perform construction site surface preparation tasks such as sanding, priming, caulking, and applying protective coatings Join our team if you're passionate about delivering top-tier craftsmanship in a fast-paced environment!
