Job Description

Experienced Commercial Painter / Finisher Permanent, full-time W-2 position

• Bad Axe, Michigan PAY $25-$30 per hour

EXPERIENCE

3+ years preferred TRAVEL Frequent travel required S & S Home Finishes is hiring an experienced commercial painter/finisher for local, regional, and out-of-state projects. Frequent travel and occasional extended or weekend hours are required based on project schedules. What we offer $25-$30 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated skill Overtime pay after 40 hours Company transportation from our designated Bad Axe meeting point Company-provided lodging for overnight assignments Per diem for qualifying travel Major equipment, materials and required PPE provided Required experience and skills At least three years of professional commercial painting/finishing experience, or equivalent demonstrated experience Commercial surface preparation and drywall patching/repairs Brush, roller and airless spray application Interior and exterior coating systems Experience with ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts Ability to maintain production speed without sacrificing finish quality Ability to follow job-site safety requirements Reliable transportation to the Bad Axe meeting point Willingness to travel and stay overnight for assignments Physical requirements Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform work involving standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching for extended periods. Work may take place indoors or outdoors in changing conditions.
