Royal Paint Company is a small family-owned business who is looking to add another person to our team. We specialize in new construction and repaints, residential and commercial, interior and exteriors. The ideal candidate MUST have 2 YEARS of painting experience.

Must have knowledge of upper end paint products and know how to properly complete a paint job with minimal oversite. Knowledge of sprayers and spraying applications is a plus! Must be comfortable on ladders and walking boards, high attention to detail and willingness to learn is a must. Royal Paint Company works in the greater Lansing Michigan area and ask that you have reliable transportation to and from the work site. Job duties include but not limited to: Taping off base/casing masking off floors Laying drop cloths in work area covering furniture with plastic moving furniture removing/re-installing switch plate covers cutting in ceiling lines and around base/casing painting trim/doors rolling/back-rolling primer or ceiling paint rolling finish coat on walls site clean up daily clean-up of brushes and rollers in order to be prepared for the next day/job. Be able to properly follow orser of operation and instructions from jobsite Forman Royal Paint company offers a 401K with a 3% company match, eligible after 6 months of employment. After 1 year of employment Royal Paint Company gives 1-week paid vacation to the candidate.

Pay:

$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
