In this role, you will assist in preparing surfaces, handling tools, and applying paint across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop hands-on skills in construction painting while working in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. Duties Assist with surface preparation including drywall installation, caulking, stucco application, and sanding to ensure optimal paint adhesion Support painting activities such as brush painting, roller painting, and operating paint sprayers including airless spray systems and conventional spray equipment Handle hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like sanding, scraping, and fixture installation Prepare construction painting surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers according to safety regulations and project specifications Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris properly, and adhering to safety protocol adherence including respiratory protection measures Interpret technical drawings and color theory to assist in accurate color matching and visual color comparison tasks Support with industrial painting projects involving coating applications on structural elements or machinery Experience Prior experience working on construction sites or in renovation projects is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with painting is a MUST.
