Experience Isn't Everything — Attitude Is No painting experience is required. We can teach you how to paint. What we're looking for are people who show up, are willing to learn, communicate, help their teammates, and take pride in doing a good job. If you're already an experienced painter, even better. We're always looking for people who can step into additional responsibility, lead a crew, and grow within Pacesetter Painting. What We're Looking For A positive attitude and team-first mentality Dependability — your team needs to be able to count on you Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Reliable phone/text communication Ability to work on your feet for 8-10 hours Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Someone who can work efficiently while still caring about quality What You'll Be Doing Our projects include: Residential interior and exterior painting Commercial painting Apartment turnovers High-end residential projects Light drywall repair and surface preparation The first week or two of most months is focused heavily on apartment painting, where our crew may complete anywhere from 10-30 units . During the winter months, we'll keep you busy with residential, commercial, apartment, and other interior painting projects while continuing to build your skills and experience. We're using the winter to develop a strong, dependable team—or teams—so we're ready to take on our busy summer season together. During July and August , things really pick up. Our team paints a couple hundred apartments for the University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan University during summer turnover season.
Important:
July and August require 7-day workweeks with approximately 8-10 hour days. This is our busiest season, and availability during this period is mandatory. It's a demanding couple of months, but it's also when teamwork matters most. Everyone works together, keeps a good attitude, and gets the job done.
