Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Painter Helper and play a vital role in supporting skilled painters on residential, commercial, and renovation projects. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction painting while contributing to high-quality finishes. As a Painter Helper, you'll assist with preparing surfaces, handling hand tools and power tools, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional results on every project! Duties Assist with surface preparation including sanding, scraping, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion Mix paints and primers according to color theory principles and project specifications Handle hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, and caulking guns with precision and care Support the application of paint using airless paint spraying equipment or brushes for residential and commercial projects Prepare work sites by setting up scaffolding, masking areas, and protecting surrounding surfaces during painting tasks Read blueprints, schematics, or schematics to understand project scope and specific requirements for renovation or restoration jobs Assist with the installation of fixtures, trim carpentry, or masonry work as needed on remodeling projects Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools, disposing of debris, and adhering to safety standards on construction sites Experience Previous experience in construction painting or related fields such as renovation or restoration is highly desirable Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics enhances your ability to support complex projects Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying, welding, and caulking is preferred Knowledge of color theory and various painting techniques for residential and industrial applications is a plus Construction site experience including working safely around scaffolding, ladders, and heavy equipment is important Basic math skills for measurements and calculations are necessary for accurate prep work Additional handyman experience such as fixture installation or drywall repair will be advantageous Join us to build a rewarding career where your skills grow daily!
