Construction Painter

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Painter to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and repairing walls or structures to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paints, stains, primers, sealers, and specialty coatings using brushes, rollers, airless spray equipment, or other power tools Read blueprints and schematics to accurately determine project scope and specifications for residential and commercial painting jobs Use hand tools such as scrapers, putty knives, trowels, and caulking guns to complete surface repairs and finishing details Perform masonry work including stucco application and concrete finishing as needed for restoration or renovation projects Operate power tools safely for tasks like sanding, scraping, or applying paint with airless sprayers to ensure efficiency and precision Assist with other construction tasks such as fixture installation, trim carpentry, framing, or basic carpentry when required to support project completion Qualifications Proven experience in construction painting across residential, commercial, or industrial sites with a solid understanding of construction site safety protocols Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately; familiarity with schematics related to building systems is a plus Skilled in surface preparation techniques including plastering, caulking, sanding, and drywall finishing Knowledge of color theory to achieve desired aesthetic effects and proper color matching Experience with various hand tools and power tools used in painting and surface finishing processes Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating paint quantities; familiarity with construction estimating is advantageous Hands-on experience with renovation projects involving restoration work or remodeling efforts Additional skills such as welding, masonry work, fixture installation or handyman experience are beneficial but not mandatory Join us in delivering exceptional craftsmanship on every project!
