Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter Helper in New construction houses In this role, you will assist experienced painter,putty/ caulking Experience a must!! Responsibilities Assist lead painters with surface preparation, including sanding, scraping, and cleaning walls or other surfaces. Mix paints, primers, and stains accurately using proper techniques and tools. Handle hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, and caulking guns to apply paint or finish materials. Support the setup and cleanup of work areas to ensure safety and efficiency on site. Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and project plans to understand painting requirements and specifications. Help with minor repairs such as patching holes, plastering, or applying stucco for surface restoration. Support the use of power tools and airless paint sprayers under supervision for large or detailed projects. Qualifications Prior experience in construction painting or related trades is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and mixing materials accurately. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and safety equipment used in construction environments. Knowledge of color theory and different types of paints suitable for residential or commercial applications is a plus. Ability to read blueprints or schematics related to painting projects. Experience with renovation work, drywall finishing, caulking, trim carpentry, or masonry is advantageous. Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety protocols on construction sites.
