Job Description
Job description: We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and detail-oriented Residential & Commercial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience with interior and exterior painting, spackling, drywall repairs, and surface preparation, and takes pride in delivering clean, professional results on every job.
Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, scraping, patching, spackling, caulking, and priming Perform spackling and minor drywall repairs, including repairing holes, cracks, dents, and imperfections Paint interior and exterior walls, ceilings, trim, doors, cabinets, and other surfaces Work on both residential homes and commercial properties Apply paint, stains, primers, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers Protect furniture, flooring, fixtures, and surrounding areas during projects Ensure surfaces are smooth, properly prepared, and ready for paint Maintain a clean and organized work area Identify and correct imperfections before and after painting Complete projects according to specifications and established timelines Communicate professionally with customers and team members Follow all company safety procedures Qualifications Previous residential or commercial painting experience preferred Experience with spackling, drywall patching, and surface preparation Knowledge of painting techniques, coatings, and finishes Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding when necessary Ability to lift and carry painting materials and equipment Professional appearance and positive attitude
