Job Description

Painter
  • Full Time, Days $19-21/Hour Join our dedicated team at Brothers of Mercy, where you'll play an important role in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-kept environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.
As a Painter, you'll perform painting, patching, and wall-covering tasks throughout the facility to ensure a high-quality and comfortable atmosphere.

What You'll Do:
Perform painting, patching, and wall covering for walls, ceilings, woodwork, furniture, and other surfaces Prepare surfaces by washing, sanding, priming, and filling cracks/holes as needed to ensure proper finish and adhesion Maintain all painting-related equipment and supplies to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation Assist in coordinating painting projects and completing preventative maintenance assignments Keep all work/storage areas clean, orderly, and hazard-free Follow all safety standards, using appropriate protective equipment (PPE) for assigned tasks Collaborate with the Director of Plant Operations and other team members to complete daily and project-based work assignments
