Job Description
Experienced Painter / Painting Subcontractor - Own Crew Welcome Jim's Home Service is looking for an experienced, dependable residential painting subcontractor for projects throughout Westchester County. Painters with their own helper or established painting crew are encouraged to apply. This is subcontractor work offered on a job-by-job, as-needed basis. This is not a full-time position, and there is no guarantee of steady or daily work. Type of Work Interior residential painting Walls, ceilings, trim and doors Proper surface preparation Patching, sanding and caulking Priming and finish painting Minor drywall and wall repairs associated with painting Proper protection of floors, furniture and customers' property Professional jobsite cleanup Requirements Strong residential painting experience Own professional painting tools and equipment Reliable transportation Ability to work independently Own helper or painting crew is a plus Dependable and able to keep agreed schedules Clean, professional workmanship Professional appearance and customer interaction Jim's Home Service provides the customer, sells and manages the project, and coordinates the work. Compensation is agreed upon for each individual job before work begins. This is a good opportunity for an experienced painter or small painting crew looking for additional projects without having to advertise, generate leads, meet with customers, and sell every job themselves.
