The ideal candidate will have experience in residential painting, with a strong understanding of products and construction practices. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality work, and the ability to work well with others. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring a high standard of finish on various projects. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed. Apply paint or other finishes using brushes and roller Drywall repairs, filling nail holes and caulking to ensure smooth finishes. Conduct restoration work on existing structures as required. Collaborate with coworkers, clients and other contractors to ensure the project run smoothly Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition Execute painting projects with precision while adhering to safety standards. Assist in fixture installation and trim carpentry as part of the finishing process. Requirements Proven experience in residential and commercial painting is preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools Experience with plaster and or drywall repair Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver high-quality workmanship consistently. . Ability to work independently or as part of a team Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
