Job Description

Commercial Painter Commercial & Residential Painting, Inc. is hiring full-time painters for commercial and industrial projects throughout Central New York. We have served the Syracuse area since 1983. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train dependable people who want to learn the trade. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by sanding, scraping, patching and cleaning Apply paint and coatings using brushes, rollers and sprayers Protect floors, equipment and surrounding areas Work safely from ladders and lifts Keep jobsites clean and organized Follow instructions and work well with a crew Requirements Dependable and on time Able to perform physical work throughout the day Comfortable working from ladders and lifts Reliable transportation is preferred Valid driver's license preferred Painting or construction experience is a plus Schedule Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Occasional overtime or weekend work Pay and Benefits $17.50-$22.00 per hour, based on experience, with opportunities for increased pay Paid time off available after one year of employment 401(k) retirement plan available; no employer match Employee-paid health insurance available Opportunities to work on prevailing-wage projects; assignments are not guaranteed
