This role involves applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces on commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting, renovation, and site preparation, with the ability to work efficiently on construction sites. This position offers an excellent opportunity for those with construction site experience to contribute to high-quality projects while honing their skills in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer as needed Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, or other equipment Use hand tools such as caulking guns, putty knives, scrapers, and brushes for detailed work Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and disposing of waste materials Collaborate with managers to ensure timely completion of projects Follow safety protocols on construction sites including proper use of scaffolding, ladders, high lifts, and personal protective equipment Skills 3-5 years commercial and industrial painting experience required Skilled in the use of hand tools such as caulking guns, putty knives, brushes, rollers, and power tools including airless paint sprayers Ability to brush, roll, and spray professionally maintaining utmost quality, production and neatness Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, lift, stretch and kneel as required Ability to perform heavy lifting Ability to work safely at heights using scaffolding, ladders, and high lifts while adhering to safety standards Knowledge of plastering, stucco application, masonry finishing, drywall repair, and fixture installation This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to advance their careers in construction painting while contributing to diverse projects across commercial, and industrial sectors.
