Key Responsibilities:

Apply coatings such as paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to protect and finish surfaces Work primarily in a blast booth to remove rust, old paint, and debris from metal parts Prepare surfaces using sandpaper, brushes, steel wool, scrapers, or other tools Follow work orders and instructions from supervisors to complete jobs accurately Ensure surfaces are clean and smooth before painting. You'll start working full-time in the blast booth until you're fully trained Over time, you'll transition into painting, with a goal of spending no more than 50% of your time blasting No prior experience required - we'll train the right person. Must be aware that role is physically demanding. The hose has a lot of air/blast media going thew it and the operator must control it. This is a full-time, contract opportunity. High school diploma/GED Resilience (can be a tough job) Communication (we understand it's hard, just ask for help) Collaboration (the booth is a multiman operation Industrial setting working with metal materials Blast booth work requires wearing a full-body enclosed suit with supplied air This is a physically demanding role - you'll be handling high-pressure blasting equipment

Pay Range:

$19.00 to $21.39 per hour
