Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a experienced Lead Painter/Foreman with 5 years minimum of experience to oversee and execute high-quality painting projects across residential and commercial sites. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of painters, coordinate project timelines, ensure safety compliance, and deliver exceptional results that enhance property aesthetics and integrity. Your expertise in various painting techniques, surface preparation, and construction processes will drive project success from start to finish. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase leadership skills while applying your extensive knowledge of construction painting and finishing. Duties Lead and supervise a team of painters, assigning tasks and ensuring efficient workflow on each project site Interpret drawings and blueprints to accurately execute painting plans Prepare surfaces meticulously through cleaning, sanding, caulking, plastering, and other surface preparation techniques aligned with construction standards Apply paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless and conventional spray equipment), ensuring even coverage and high-quality finishes Manage the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, ladders, and safety equipment to maintain a safe work environment at all times Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other trades to meet deadlines while adhering to safety regulations and quality standards Conduct color matching using visual comparison techniques and apply knowledge of color theory for aesthetic consistency across projects Requirements Proven experience in construction painting with a strong background in residential and commercial Demonstrated leadership ability as a foreman or lead painter overseeing teams on multiple job sites Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans Knowledge of various painting methods such as brush painting, roller painting, spray painting (including airless systems), and coating application Familiarity with safety regulations related to construction sites including respiratory protection protocols and proper use of safety gear Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively while maintaining high standards of quality control Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for estimating materials and project planning Strong understanding of construction site procedures including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, fixture installation, remodeling tasks Join our team as a Lead Painter/Foreman where your expertise will shape the look and durability of our clients' properties.
