Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primers or sealers as needed, ensuring optimal adhesion and finish quality Apply paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless and conventional spray equipment), and other hand tools with precision and efficiency Execute both interior and exterior painting projects on residential and commercial properties, including walls, ceilings, stucco, drywall, plastering, and structural surfaces Use ladders safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas while adhering to all safety regulations and protocols Perform surface preparation tasks such as sanding, patching holes or cracks, applying texture finishes like stucco or plaster for renovation projects Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and disposing of waste materials in compliance with safety standards Assist with fixture installation or remodeling tasks as needed during project execution Follow safety guidelines diligently by wearing respiratory protection when necessary and adhering to all safety regulations on construction sites Qualifications Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or industrial coating applications with a strong portfolio of completed projects Skilled in surface preparation techniques including drywall repair, plastering, stucco application, and surface cleaning Proficient in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, sanders; power tools including paint sprayers (airless and conventional), drills, grinders; and scaffolding equipment Strong understanding of safety regulations related to construction painting environments; committed to maintaining a safe work site through proper use of respiratory protection and adherence to safety protocols Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during surface preparation or coating application Experience with remodeling or handyman tasks is advantageous for versatile project support Valid ladder use certification or demonstrated ability to work safely at heights on ladders or scaffolding Join us in creating vibrant spaces that inspire!
